Who is CIMA?

CIMA is the market-leading business qualification provider, covering financial topics for use within commercial finance roles. There are two CIMA qualifications available - CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting & the CIMA Professional Qualification. This course is the full package for the CIMA Professional Qualification and includes:

  • Operational Level

Is the CIMA Professional Qualification Package right for me?

If you have completed a CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting or an AAT Level 4 qualification this course is the next stage for you to move into the world of Management Accounting.

Alternatively, if you have sufficient accounting experience you can go straight into this qualification without having to complete one of the prerequisite courses above. 

Course Overview

This qualification is made up of three levels, where you will cover topics for Operational Level, Management Level and Strategic Level. These are outlined below:

Operational Level

CIMA Exam Info

The CIMA exams cover two testing styles: Objective Test and Case Study exam.

Objective Tests

3 x 90-minute, computer-based Objective Test - Number entry questions, short multiple-choice questions, drag and drop questions. Taken at any Pearson Vue Test Centre around the world, with a choice of 5,000 centres.

Case Study Examinations

3 x 3-hour Case Study Examinations – Simulated exams which showcase the skills, techniques and knowledge gained, covering Finance Professional, Finance Manager and Senior Finance Manager roles. These simulated exams will help demonstrate that you have acquired the necessary knowledge, techniques and mindset for those roles. Available four times a year: Feb, May, Aug & Nov.
